Hampshire Hawks v Kent Spitfires
Vitality Blast (South Group)
Sunday 2nd June 2024 (1pm Start)
Utilita Bowl
Hampshire Hawks take on Kent Spitfires on Sunday in their second Vitality Blast match of their 2024 campaign.
Having narrowly lost their season opener against Surrey, the Hawks will be looking to bounce back with a victory at home.
Meanwhile, the Spitfires took on Middlesex in their first match of the competition, winning by 98 runs.
The last time that Kent made the trip down to Utilita Bowl was in 2022 when James Vince scored an unforgettable century in a 54-run win for the Hawks.
Hawks Squad
Hampshire Hawks have named a 14-player squad for the match against Kent Spitfires.
Toby Albert (46) top scored with the bat in the opening match against Surrey, while Joe Weatherley and Liam Dawson also made scores in the thirties.
Michael Neser was the pick of the bowlers with two wickets on his T20 debut for the Hawks.

Kent Spitfires
Squad: Sam Billings (c), Xavier Bartlett, Daniel Bell-Drummond, Zak Crawley, Joe Denly, Joey Evison, Harry Finch, Tawanda Muyeye, Marcus O’Riordan, Matt Parkinson, Hamidullah Qadri, Jas Singh, Grant Stewart, Beyers Swanepoel
After a dream season in 2021, in which they lifted their second T20 trophy, the last two seasons haven’t been as fruitful for Kent. They narrowly missed out on a quarter-final place last season after losing their final two group matches. The Spitfires will be hoping that they can return to Edgbaston this time around for what would be their fifth Finals Day appearance.
Wicket-keeper batter Sam Billings resigned as club captain in October but remains as T20 skipper. Though important players from last year Jordan Cox (Essex) and Michael Hogan (retired) have both left, the Spitfires have added to their already strong squad. Matt Parkinson has joined from Lancashire, while overseas duo Beyers Swanepoel and Xavier Bartlett will bolster the bowling attack. With the bat, all eyes will be on the likes of Daniel Bell-Drummond, Tawanda Muyeye and England's Zak Crawley.
