A Record-Breaking Summer of International Cricket at Utilita Bowl
Fans were treated to historic matches, unforgettable performances, and unforgettable atmospheres at this year's international fixtures
Following a difficult defeat against Somerset at Taunton to round out a period of seven successive away games, Hampshire finally return home to The Ageas Bowl for the remainder of this year’s competition, with matches against Middlesex, Surrey and Gloucestershire all arriving in the same week.
James Vince’s side are still searching for their second victory of the campaign – their sole victory came against Essex Eagles in the competition’s second contest – and will be hoping to get back on track by adding multiple victories to their tally.
Hampshire Squad:
A unchanged 13-man squad has been announced for all three fixtures.
Colin de Grandhomme made an immediate impact in his Hawks debut on Friday, blitzing 66 from just 34 balls to go along with two wickets and he’ll be integral to the team’s success at every turn.
Exciting 20-year-old seamer Scott Currie was the pick of the bowlers at Taunton as he finished with a career-best 4-31 from his allocation. He leads a crop of promising youngsters included in the squad with teenagers Toby Albert and Tom Prest also featuring.
