Rothesay County Championship
Friday 2nd-Monday 5th May (11am start)
Utilita Bowl
Hampshire Men return to Rothesay County Championship action after a week’s break against Durham at Utilita Bowl from Friday 2nd to Monday 5th May.
The Rose and Crown were thwarted by the weather last time out against Somerset when James Fuller, on his return to the side, claimed 4-42 in the first innings, with another four-for for Brad Wheal.
Nick Gubbins and Liam Dawson both made half-centuries before persistent rain and bad light ensured the match would end in a draw.
Durham come into the match off the back of a win inside two days against Worcestershire.
On a tricky pitch, they chased down 108 with six wickets in hand having bowled the hosts out for 162 and 81 with loanee Jake Ball claiming a five-for in his first innings for the north east outfit.
Hampshire Squad
Hampshire have named a 13-player squad for their County Championship match against Durham.
Spin bowling all-rounder Felix Organ comes into the squad for the first time this summer having scored over 300 runs and taken ten wickets for the Second XI.
Pace bowler Sonny Baker also returns having been rested by the ECB for our previous match against Somerset whilst John Turner has extended his loan spell at Lancashire.

On their return to Division One last summer, Durham managed fifth place when many had tipped them for the title.
This season, they have won one, drawn one, and lost two but have the second most bonus points of any team in the top tier, with 10 batting and 11 bowling points.
Former England opener Alex Lees takes charge of the side with experience in Colin Ackermann and David Bedingham, when fit, in the middle order.
Ben McKinney is one to keep an eye on – the tall left-handed opener and former England U19 captain has already been tipped to feature for the Test side this summer.
Bowling-wise, Durham had to call in Jack Blatherwick and Jake Ball on loan and signed South African pacer Codi Yusuf, whilst the ever-present Ben Raine will be a threat if conditions allow swing.
