Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Hampshire Men take on Sussex at Utilita Bowl in their first pre-season friendly of 2025

Hampshire Men host Sussex at Utilita Bowl in their first two-day pre-season friendly, starting on Thursday 20^th March.

The squad travelled to Colombo, Sri Lanka for their pre-season tour. Ben Brown impressed, scoring 122 runs whilst Brad Wheal took six wickets across the two matches.

Ben Brown will lead the club out for the first time at Utilita Bowl after his appointment as County Championship captain.
