After the opening round abandonment, newly promoted Durham seemed to have settled into life in Divsion One with two draws against Warwickshire and Essex and a victory over Worcestershire. So far it has been their batters that have impressed the most with five players averaging over 40 from their three matches, including England bowler Matthew Potts who scored his maiden first class century in April.
Wicket-keeper batter Ollie Robinson has also caught the eye recording half-centuries in all five of his innings so far this season, while David Bedingham has started the season positively and leads Durham's run scoring charts. Overseas signing Peter Siddle is yet to play, having joined to replace Scott Boland who only played one match before an injury cut his time with Durham short.
