Kids Go Free For Hampshire’s Season Openers
Kids go free across the Easter weekend (3–6 April) as Hampshire host Essex in the Rothesay County Championship, with the same offer available for Hampshire Women’s season opener on 11 April.
Hampshire will be looking to reverse a run of disappointing results when they face Essex Eagles at the The Ageas Bowl in the latest Vitality Blast South Group action on Wednesday.
The fixture - starting at 2pm - sees fifth play sixth in the South Group, with Hampshire unable to qualify for the knockout stages while Essex require three wins from their remaining three matches and other results to go their way to have a chance of reaching the quarter-finals.
Team News:
Hampshire have named a 16-man squad for the fixture with George Munsey joining the 15 who were included for Monday's match against Kent Spitfires.
Munsey returns to the squad following a spell out with a side strain and will be hoping to feature for Hampshire for the first time since facing Essex Eagles in the return fixture at Chelmsford on 1st September.
