2026 Domestic Season Confirmed With County Championship And One Day Cup Fixtures Announced
Hampshire’s men and women open their respective County Championship and One Day Cup campaigns at home to Essex
Hampshire will be looking to get back to winning ways in the NatWest T20 Blast, when they take on Gloucestershire at Bristol on Friday evening.
Hampshire Squad:
Hampshire have named a 16-man squad for the fixture, with Tom Alsop, Mason Crane, Chris Wood and Fidel Edwards included alongside the final XI that featured in Wednesday’s clash against Somerset.
Liam Dawson is also available for the first time in the competition, having returned to the club following his International commitments with England.
The Opposition:
Gloucestershire have begun their 2017 NatWest T20 Blast campaign positively, with two wins, one defeats, one tie and two no results seeing them sit fourth in the South Group.
After starting the competition off with a tie against Middlesex, Michael Klinger’s side have claimed wins against Kent Spitfires and Glamorgan and the captain comes into this contest in some form, having struck 52 at the top of the order against Glamorgan on Tuesday.
