Hampshire v Gloucestershire LV= Insurance County Championship (Division One) Thursday 5th May - Sunday 8th May 2022 (11am Start) The The Ageas Bowl
Gloucestershire are the visitors to The Ageas Bowl as Hampshire look to continue their positive start to the 2022 LV= Insurance County Championship season.
The two sides met in last year's LV= County Championship at The Ageas Bowl, centuries from Ian Holland and Tom Alsop helped Hampshire to 470 all out before dismissing the visitors for 151. Gloucestershire held on for a draw with only one wicket remaining on the final day of the match.
In the reverse fixture, Hampshire eased to victory in Cheltenham. Nick Gubbins scored his first century for Hampshire after joining mid-season from Middlesex and Hampshire were eventual winners by seven wickets.
Gloucestershire's last fixture ended in a draw against Surrey and they currently occupy ninth position in Division One while Hampshire - who have won two of their four matches so far this season - sit in second.

Hampshire have named a 13-player squad for this week’s match.
Opening batter Joe Weatherley suffered a fractured hand in last week's draw against Lancashire so Aneurin Donald has come into the squad after impressive early-season form for the Second XI.
