Lancashire

Captain: Josh Bohannon

In the last few years, Lancashire have performed well in the One Day Cup. Finalists in 2022, where they were defeated by Kent Spitfires, before once again qualifying from the group stage last year, only to lose out to Gloucestershire in the quarter final. This season, however, they have had a difficult start, losing thir opening three matches.

Before their match against Derbyshire, Lancashire were dealt the blow that their skipper, Keaton Jennings, would be unavailable after being selected as a replacement player by London Spirit in The Hundred. As a result, Josh Bohannon has taken over captaincy. He and Jennings are the only two Lancashire players to record a score over fifty in the competition so far though with their next highest run scorer making just 43 from their three matches so far. They have added Indian batter Venkatesh Iyer to help with their batting problems. Chris Green and Will Williams lead the way with the ball, but only have three wickets each so far. Lancashire do boast a very young squad which includes the exciting Rocky Flintoff, son of former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff.
