Hampshire kickstart their Metro Bank One Day Cup campaign on Tuesday as they welcome Middlesex to The Ageas Bowl.
A youthful side, led by Nick Gubbins, progressed to the semi-final stage in 2022 and they will be hoping for more success this time around.
Middlesex finished fourth in the group stage last time out but have lost Steven Eskinazi to The Hundred, who finished as the competition’s top run scorer in 2022.
Hampshire Squad
A 13-player squad has been named for the match against Middlesex.
Nick Gubbins remains as skipper after last year, as cover for club captain James Vince.
Tom Prest led the side in runs scored with 402 in 2022 and he made a half-century in the National Counties match against Dorset.
Academy prospects Eddie Jack and Dom Kelly are included and took 4-7 and 3-14 respectively against Dorset.
Jack Campbell is currently out with a groin injury.
