Hampshire return to red ball cricket this week when they face Surrey in a crucial Specsavers County Championship Division One clash at the The Ageas Bowl, beginning on Tuesday.
Hampshire Squad:
Hampshire have named a 12-man squad for this week’s four-day fixture, with Tom Alsop replacing the injured Lewis McManus behind the stumps and batsman Joe Weatherley also included.
Mason Crane is unavailable for selection due to his International commitments with England.
The Opposition:
Surrey have had a frustrating season in Division One, despite sitting fourth in the table.
Gareth Batty’s side have won just once all season, that victory coming in the opening round of fixtures and since drawn eight of their last nine matches.
Mark Stoneman will be unavailable for the visitors after being selected to play in England’s third and final Test Match against the Windies at Lord’s.
