Joseph Eckland And Daisy Mullan Released
Keeper-batter Joseph Eckland and all-rounder Daisy Mullan will leave Hampshire Cricket on the expiration of their contracts
The return of Fidel Edwards should boost Hampshire's hopes of claiming back-to-back Royal London One-Day Cup wins, when they face Kent in the second 50-over fixture of the campaign.
James Vince’s side enjoyed an impressive 87-run victory over local rivals Sussex in Monday’s opening fixture, with the skipper starring with an excellent century and Liam Dawson enjoying a magnificent all-round performance to see Hampshire home.
Hampshire Squad:
Hampshire make just one change to the squad that was named to face Sussex as Fidel Edwards returning to the fold following his Caribbean Premier League commitments.
Edwards replaces Sean Terry in the 13-man squad, with Will Smith the other player included who did not feature in Monday’s final eleven.
The Opposition:
Kent enjoyed a positive Royal-London competition last year, reaching the semi-final stage before falling to defeat against Warwickshire.
Under the guidance of Sam Northeast, Kent will be looking to pick up their first win of the competition, with their first fixture lost to rain, the hosts then suffered a narrow defeat at the hands of Glamorgan on Tuesday.

What The Team Say:
Hampshire Director of Cricket Giles White: ‘It’s great to see the guys get some runs and then bowl well and defend a target against a strong Sussex outfit, but it’s important now that we build on that. There are a lot of strong sides in this group so for us to get back-to-back wins would be important going forward in the competition.
‘Kent have been excellent and are a good, young, mobile side but we feel we are starting to play very good white ball cricket so if we play as we can do hopefully we can get the right result on Thursday.’
Hampshire Squad:
Jimmy Adams, Michael Carberry, James Vince (c), Adam Wheater, Joe Gatting, Will Smith, Gareth Berg, Yasir Arafat, Chris Wood, Danny Briggs, Liam Dawson, Mason Crane, Fidel Edwards.
Coverage:
Live text commentary will be available via the Hampshire Cricket Twitter and Facebook pages. A feed to these will also be available on this page.
There will be ball-by-ball commentary available on BBC Radio Solent online at bbc.co.uk.
