Hampshire’s Lauren Bell delivered impactful spells to help RCB start the tournament with back-to-back wins
Southern Vipers will look to get back to winning ways when they travel to Lancashire Thunder in the latest round of Kia Super League fixtures on Wednesday afternoon.
Southern Vipers Squad:
Southern Vipers have named a 15-player squad, with Ellen Burt being named alongside the final XI that featured from narrow loss against Surrey Stars at the The Ageas Bowl on Sunday. Tara Norris, Charlie Dean and Izzy Collis are also included whilst Suzie Bates will be looking to continue her fine form which has seen her score an unbeaten 216 runs in three innings in the tournament.
The Opposition:
Lancashire Thunder are still searching for their first win of the 2017 Kia Super League after defeats to Yorkshire Diamonds, Surrey Stars and Loughborough Lightning in their opening three games. Thunder finished bottom of the table in 2016, so will be looking for improvement in this year’s campaign, and with England internationals Sarah Taylor and Kate Cross in their side, they are still a threat.
