Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Southern Vipers bring the curtain down on their Charlotte Edwards Cup group campaign today in a crucial fixture away against Lightning

Southern Vipers face Lightning in a crucial Charlotte Edwards Cup match at Derby on Monday (2:30pm Start).

Win and they'll qualify for Charlotte Edwards Cup Finals Day at The Ageas Bowl on Sunday 5th September. Win against Lightning while Central Sparks beat South East Stars and the'll qualify directly for Sunday's Final.

However if Vipers lose at Derby they won't qualify for a home Finals Day.

Team News:

The Vipers have named a 14-player squad for Monday's fixture.

After their first England call ups, the Vipers will again be without Charlie Dean and Maia Bouchier for Monday's match, as well as Danni Wyatt who has also been selected for the IT20 series against New Zealand.

Lauren Bell returns to the squad after missing Saturday's match against South East Stars.
