Hampshire seamer Manny Lumsden’s key 2-for and skipper Thomas Rew’s clutch century helped the Young Lions make their third-ever Under-19 World Cup final
Hampshire head back on the road as they travel to Radlett to take on Middlesex in the latest round of Royal London Cup action.
Kyle Abbott’s side secured an emphatic victory against local rivals Sussex Sharks last time out and will be hoping to back that up with another positive performance tomorrow.
Hampshire Squad:
A 13-man squad has been announced for Friday’s fixture.
19-year-old batsman Toby Albert is the sole addition alongside 12 of the 13 squad members from Tuesday’s victory. He replaces Nick Gubbins who is ineligible to feature against his former side.
Gubbins starred with both bat and ball against Sussex and he will be a miss, although four other players have made key contributions with the bat in Hampshire’s opening two games and will look to step up in his absence.
James Vince, Liam Dawson, Mason Crane, Chris Wood and Brad Wheal remain absent due to their respective commitments in The Hundred.
