Australian Duo Neser And Lehmann Join Hampshire For 2026
Australian all-rounder Michael Neser and batter Jake Lehmann join Hampshire for the 2026 season
James Vince’s side will be looking to continue their NatWest T20 Blast win streak as his stand-out career-best 99* helped Hampshire claim a thrilling six-wicket victory against Kent in their last fixture.
Last Friday’s match saw Hampshire record their third consecutive win in and they currently sit second in the South Group, with a game in hand over group-leaders Gloucestershire who are top of the table.
Hampshire Squad:
Fast-bowler Fidel Edwards is unavailable for the fixture and the remaining group-stage matches due to his CPL commitments, however Jackson Bird is included in the squad and is likely to play on Thursday.
The Opposition:
Having won two of their opening three fixtures, four consecutive losses, including a defeat at The Ageas Bowl in the reverse fixture, means Middlesex currently lie in eighth place in the South Group.
Former Hampshire pace-bowler Kyle Abbot is set to feature for the hosts against his former, but Middlesex will however be without skipper Eoin Morgan and fast-bowler Steven Finn who are both on international duty with England.

What The Team Say:
All-rounder Sean Ervine: ‘It's ridiculous how tight this group is. There's plenty to play for that's for sure. The next two games are massive for us – any sort of win, you try to take that momentum in to the next game but there are some strong teams in this group.’
