Hampshire Men travel to Trent Bridge as they face Nottinghamshire in the latest round of the Rothesay County Championship Division One.
Ben Brown’s side secured a draw at Utilita Bowl against Durham, where the skipper made his third-highest First-Class score of 162 with fifties from Mark Stoneman, Nick Gubbins, and Felix Organ ensuring the points were shared.
Liam Dawson was the pick of the bowlers as he claimed his 15th First-Class five-for bowling 48 overs in a match which was dominated by the batters.
Nottinghamshire had a week off from red ball action last week, but convincingly beat Sussex by nine wickets in their previous fixture.
They will be aided by the arrival of former Hampshire overseas Mohammad Abbas as he will play his first of six games for the east Midlands outfit.

Club captain Haseeb Hameed has continued his fine form into this summer, as he’s scored 443 runs at an average over 100 so far, with three fifties and an unbeaten century.
He’ll be aided by Ben Duckett as England’s men build up to their one-off Test against Zimbabwe, whilst a middle order of Joe Clarke, Jack Haynes, and Lyndon James is not to be sniffed at, along with South African Test wicket keeper Kyle Verreynne.
Former Rose and Crown-er Mohammad Abbas is set to feature for Notts in his first game since moving counties, whilst Brett Hutton has picked up 15 wickets at 16.20 in the three games he’s played thus far, with England pacer Josh Tongue matching his wicket tally with two five-wicket hauls for good measure.
