Southern Vipers will be aiming to bounce back after a disappointing defeat to the Sunrisers at The Ageas Bowl in their opening game of 2023.
They return to Beckenham for the first time since their resounding victory against South East Stars in the Eliminator of last year’s Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, where openers Ella McCaughan and Maia Bouchier helped steer the orange and black side to a six-wicket victory.
The Stars kicked off their RHFT campaign with a bang, as former Viper Paige Scholfield struck her maiden century, with contributions from England’s Alice Davidson-Richards and Bryony Smith, and highly-rated wicket-keeper Kira Chathli.
Wickets from England fast bowler Freya Davies, leg spinner Dani Gregory and England U19’s Ryana MacDonald-Gay helped the Stars to an emphatic 131-run win against Thunder.
Southern Vipers Squad

Emily Windsor returns to the squad for the first time this year after a successful winter’s rehab programme.
