Match Preview: Southern Vipers v Northern Diamonds - Charlotte Edwards Cup

Southern Vipers face Northern Diamonds in the Charlotte Edwards Cup Eliminator at The Ageas Bowl on Sunday (12pm Start) as part of Charlotte Edwards Cup Finals Day.

The winners will qualify for the Final (4pm) to face South East Stars to round off the inaugural Charlotte Edwards Cup.

South East Stars qualified straight to the Final courtesy of winning Group A - and doing so with more points than Northern Diamonds (who won Group B) - while Vipers qualified for the Eliminator to face Northern Diamonds as the best-placed runner-up.

The Vipers have named a 14-player squad for Sunday's Eliminator against Northern Diamonds.

After their first England call ups, the Vipers will again be without Charlie Dean and Maia Bouchier for Sunday's knock-out fixture, as well as Danni Wyatt who has also been selected for the IT20 series against New Zealand.

Finty Trussler, Ella McCaughan and Ariana Dowse come into the squad after missing the Vipers clash with Lightning.
