Southern Vipers return to Arundel Castle off the back of a thrilling win against current RHFT holders Northern Diamonds.
The previous fixture at the castle was a washout between the Vipers and the Diamonds, with only 25.4 overs completed before the heavens opened.
Last time out at South Northumberland CC in Gosforth, Georgia Adams became the first Viper to surpass 2,000 runs for the team, and her 1-34 also saw her overtake Charlie Dean to become the club’s leading wicket taker with 59 wickets.
Ella McCaughan was three runs shy of recording third half-century of the year, whilst Emily Windsor scored 39 to take her ever closer to 1,000 runs in orange and black.
Thunder meanwhile inflicted a six-wicket defeat on South East Stars, as the spin duo of Fi Morris and Olivia Bell took 7-56 between them, as the Stars were dismantled for 145 before 50 from Emma Lamb helped the north west side to their target just after the halfway point.
The last time the two sides met in the RHFT, the match was tied when former Viper Tara Norris ran two off the final ball to level the scores at Southport.

Lauren Bell is unavailable due to illness, whilst Maia Bouchier and Charlie Dean remain on international duty for England Women’s ODI series against Sri Lanka.
Danni Wyatt is being rested after a busy summer schedule, whilst Freya Kemp makes her return.
Linsey Smith returns to the squad in place of Finty Trussler.
