Match Preview: Sunrisers v Southern Vipers, Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy

Southern Vipers will be looking to begin their Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy campaign with a victory when they face the Sunrisers in the competition curtain-raiser at Chelmsford on Saturday 29th August, with the match starting at 10:30am.

The Vipers contest six group stage matches in the one-off 50-over competition, facing the Sunrisers, Western Storm and South East Stars home and away across August and September.

A 14-player squad has been announced for the Vipers' first Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy match with England batter Danni Wyatt featuring after the ECB made all 24 players in England Women's training group available for the first two fixtures in the special edition competition.

Georgia Adams will captain the side, with eight of the 14 players who have travelled to Chelmsford having represented the Southern Vipers in previous seasons.
