A 13-player squad has been named for Southern Vipers’ trip to Radlett to take on Sunrisers in the final RHFT match before the CEC
Sunrisers v Southern Vipers
Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy
Wednesday 8th May 2024 (10:30am start)
Radlett
Southern Vipers will look to round off the first block of Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy matches with another win, having came out victorious in four of their five matches so far this year.
Saturday saw a thrilling contest against Western Storm, where Charli Knott scored a sensational maiden hundred, with Georgia Adams continuing her record of scoring a half-century each time she has faced the Storm in RHFT matches.
Freya Davies meanwhile picked up her first wickets in a Vipers shirt on her way to figures of 2-51 to help the Vipers to a four-run win.
Sunrisers currently sit third in the table, with three wins from five. They completed a five wicket win against Central Sparks at Kidderminster, largely thanks to an unbeaten century from captain Grace Scrivens, but were defeated by table-toppers South East Stars on Saturday.
The two sides faced twice in 2023, with the Sunrisers coming out on top on both occasions, giving them their first-ever wins against the Vipers.

With the England Women’s squad joining up yesterday, Maia Bouchier, Charlie Dean, Freya Kemp, Linsey Smith and Danni Wyatt are all unavailable.

Now led by former England U19 captain, Grace Scrivens, the Sunrisers are a side to look out for with several names to keep an eye on.
