Sussex Sharks
Captain: Tymal Mills
After a difficult period in T20 cricket, failing to advance past the group stage in their previous two campaigns, Sussex have been impressive in this year's Vitality Blast with six wins from their nine matches so far. As a result, the Sharks sit second in the South Division, just four points behind leaders Surrey and with a good chance of making it to the quarter-final stage.
So far, T20 skipper Tymal Mills has been influential for his side and leads the competition with 19 wickets coming at an average of just 14.05. He has also been backed by Australian Nathan McAndrew who has 13 wickets so far, while the rest of the attack have also chipped in with scalps of their own. Another overseas star has shone brightest with the bat as Daniel Hughes has racked up an impressive 354 runs during his stint at The 1st Central County Ground so far. James Coles (229), Tom Alsop (177) and Harrison Ward (148) have also been good performers for the Sharks.
