May Half-Term & Summer Holiday Coaching Courses Available to Book Now
Hampshire Cricket are excited to host a variety of coaching courses and camps during the May half-term and end-of-school-year holidays
The Ageas Bowl, as well as locally renowned cricket clubs including St Cross and Grayshott, are to host an array of coaching courses and camps in the Summer half-term holidays approaching, starting at the end of May.
Hampshire Cricket’s skilled and experienced coaches will be offering a range of cricket courses available to young cricketers, no matter the level, aged 5 – 14+, tiered by the new banding system below:
May half-term is set to see Mini Crickets sessions hosted at the The Ageas Bowl, St Cross CC & Grayshott CC between 29th May – 1st June, with the aim of introducing young individuals and groups to the game, aged between 5 – 8 years. Within these dates there will also be both soft-ball and hard-ball training courses at both Grayshott & St Cross, available for 9 – 11-year olds, which progresses young cricketers through a smooth transition from soft-ball cricket, to the next step, to using a cricket ball.
White Ball specialist courses aim to help young cricketers progress in their shorter formats of the game, improving batting strike-rates and bowling to attacking batsmen.
Other May half-term coaching courses include more General Courses hosted for a variety of ages and abilities, including Girls-only courses – open to all abilities aged 9 – 14.
Hampshire Cricket have also teamed up with SportSkool to offer fantastic experiences with professional coaches, offering a huge variety of sports. Hampshire Sport Camps are a brand-new set of multi-sports camps providing children aged 5 – 11 years with a safe, fun and worthwhile activity camp experience at sports facilities located at North Baddesley Infant School.
Following the May half-term, various Summer Holiday coaching courses are available to book on to from now for the end of July and throughout August at Cricket Clubs including: St Cross, Andover & Hursley Park.
