Joseph Eckland And Daisy Mullan Released
Keeper-batter Joseph Eckland and all-rounder Daisy Mullan will leave Hampshire Cricket on the expiration of their contracts
England Under-19s have selected Hampshire all-rounder Josh McCoy in their 14-man squad for the first of two four-day matches against Sri Lanka which starts at Fenner’s in Cambridge on Tuesday.
18-year-old McCoy replaces Josh Tongue, the Worcestershire seamer who has been withdrawn as a precaution after feeling soreness in his back following the two-day match against a Unicorns XI in Loughborough last week.
McCoy, who plays for Havant and attends Millfield School, impressed for an Invitational XI against the Sri Lankans in their warm-up match in Loughborough and is set to join the squad in Cambridge on Monday.
