Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Lewis McManus Joins Northamptonshire On Loan

Wicket-keeper batter Lewis McManus joins Northamptonshire on a month long loan

Hampshire Cricket can today announce that wicketkeeper-batter Lewis McManus will join Northamptonshire on a month-long loan deal, effective today.

McManus will be available for Northamptonshire’s pre-season match against Cardiff UCCE this week and their LV= Insurance County Championship matches in the month of April.

Giles White, Hampshire Director of Cricket, said: “This is a great opportunity for Lewis to play First Class cricket. He narrowly missed out on selection here but there is no better way to push his case than to perform well with Northamptonshire.”
