Bargate Announces New Partnership With Utilita Bowl And Hampshire Cricket
The partnership will run for over two years, strengthening Bargate’s presence within one of Hampshire’s most recognisable sporting destinations.
Hampshire wicket keeper and all-rounder Megan Sturge has agreed a loan deal with Kent for the 2025 season.
Sturge, who was born in Margate, played three matches for Utilita Bowl-based Southern Vipers – the women’s regional side – from 2023-24, and joined the Vipers Academy in 2023.
The 20-year-old represented Kent from Under 11 level onwards and made her debut for the county in 2021.
The loan arrangement allows Sturge to play for Hampshire and Kent concurrently, allowing both player and counties the flexibility to ensure the needs of all are met.
