Kids Go Free For Hampshire’s Season Openers
Kids go free across the Easter weekend (3–6 April) as Hampshire host Essex in the Rothesay County Championship, with the same offer available for Hampshire Women’s season opener on 11 April.
Hampshire Cricket are pleased to announce that Pakistan star Mohammad Abbas will rejoin the Club for the remainder of this season’s LV= Insurance County Championship, following a period of quarantine.
The 31-year-old took 27 wickets at an average of just 15.96 during the LV= Insurance County Championship’s group stage and rejoins as the Club’s second overseas player for the red-ball competition, alongside Kyle Abbott.

Abbas isn’t available to play in Hampshire’s first divisional stage fixture – against Yorkshire at The Ageas Bowl starting on Monday 30th August – but will be available for selection for all of Hampshire’s other fixtures in Division One, starting with the match against Warwickshire at Edgbaston on Sunday 5th September.
