Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

More Than 2,500 People Attend The Ageas Bowl's Christmas Festival

The event raised more than £2,900 for charity

More than 2,500 people from across the Eastleigh Borough came together to attend Hampshire Cricket in the Community’s annual Christmas Festival held at the The Ageas Bowl last Sunday (4^th December).

The home of Hampshire Cricket spread the festive joy with their third annual Christmas Festival at the venue, raising more than £2,900 for charity in the process – more than double the sum achieved in 2015’s event.

The event featured a host of fairground rides, markets stalls, community stands as well as performances from local school choirs and an appearance from Santa Claus himself.

2016’s festival also saw CyberJam Gaming join the action, offering guests a unique gaming room experience in the pitch-side surroundings of the Hambledon suites.

We are delighted with the turnout from this year’s Christmas Festival and to be able to raise more than £2,500 for charity in the process is fantastic. The event is all about opening our doors to the local community, engaging with them and celebrating the festive period together – to have so many people attend and support the festival is great and hopefully we’ve achieved that.
