Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Mujeeb Recalled By Afghanistan Ahead Of Ireland Series

Hampshire spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman will miss the final group game of the season

Hampshire overseas spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman will miss the side's final South Group match of the campaign against Gloucestershire at the The Ageas Bowl on Friday evening.

The 17-year-old has travelled with Afghanistan Cricket Board today to Ireland ahead of the T20 series between the two nations, which begins on Monday.

The young mysery spinner has impressed during his time with James Vince's side, picking up nine wickets in the competition this summer to sit second in the list of T20 wicket-takers, behind only Chris Wood.

Everyone at Hampshire Cricket would like to thank Mujeeb for his contributions during his time at the The Ageas Bowl.
