Kids Go Free For Hampshire’s Season Openers
Kids go free across the Easter weekend (3–6 April) as Hampshire host Essex in the Rothesay County Championship, with the same offer available for Hampshire Women’s season opener on 11 April.
Hampshire Cricket are delighted to announce the signing of batsman, Nick Gubbins.
The talented left-hander joins Hampshire from Middlesex, initially on a loan deal until the end of the season, before joining the Club on a permanent contract.
We’re delighted to welcome Nick to the Club and are excited about what he brings to the group. He’s a talented top-order batsman with a strong track record and we’re confident he’ll be an excellent fit within the squad.

Since making his debut for Middlesex in 2014, Gubbins has amassed more than 5,000 first-class runs across 85 matches as a consistent feature at the top of the order for the London-based side.
The 27-year-old has also enjoyed white-ball success in the capital, with 2,067 runs coming at an average of 39.00 in 56 List contests, including five centuries and 12 fifties.
