Liam Dawson (100*) - Hampshire v Glamorgan, Royal London One-Day Cup, 31st July 2016

Hampshire travelled to Swansea to meet Glamorgan in the Royal London Cup, on this day six years ago.

Having won the toss, Liam Dawson - acting as captain - decided that his side would bat first.

He then came into bat with Hampshire on 137-3 in the 27th over of their innings.

Dawson came alive in the final two overs and hit 29 runs from his final six deliveries, including 17 in the last over, as the final ball of Hampshire's innings cleared the rope to give the all-rounder an unbeaten century in just 68 balls.

With a target of 317, Glamorgan then failed to deliver with the bat and were bowled out for just 130 to give Hampshire a 186-run victory.

Gareth Berg (4-25) and Ryan McClaren (4-42) impressed with the ball.
