James Fuller (4-17) - Surrey v Hampshire, Bob Willis Trophy, 18th August 2020

Two years ago today, a James Fuller inspired Hampshire secured an innings victory over Surrey at Arundel.

With Surrey winning the toss and electing to bat, Hampshire bowled the visitors out for just 172 – with Ian Holland (6-60) the pick of the bowlers.

Hampshire had then made 298 from their first innings, but a draw seemed like the most favourable result.

However, some expert bowling saw Surrey score a measly 74 runs in their second innings, with Fuller having Laurie Evans caught behind, trapping Gus Atkinson lbw and bowling Morne Morkel in consecutive balls to become the 15th Hampshire player to record a hat-trick.

The home side went on to win by an innings and 52 runs.
