Pre-Season Updates For Hampshire
Keep an eye on our players as they prepare for the upcoming 2026 season.
Hampshire Women will be taking part in their first-ever pre-season tour as a professional side.
The team will travel to Desert Springs in Spain, a previous destination for the men's squad, so they can train on grass in warm weather ahead of the One Day Cup starting on 11th April.
Their tour runs from 18-24th March with friendlies away to both Warwickshire and Somerset on the 1st and 7th of April respectively.
Hampshire's men returned from Delhi and spent three weeks in the UK before they flew out to Stellenbosch, South Africa on Wednesday.
They will train in South Africa for ten days, returning on Sunday 15th March.
The squad will meet up with new Head Coach Russell Domingo for the first time in person, along with Bowling Coach Shane Burger.

Upon their return to the UK, Hampshire Men will face Middlesex in a two-day red ball friendly at Utilita Bowl from 20-21st March, with another home match against Gloucestershire scheduled for 24-25th March.
They will then travel to Hove to play Sussex in another two-dayer on 28-29th March before the opening Rothesay County Championship match at home against Essex on Friday 3rd April.
Hampshire Men went to New Delhi, India for a training camp.
During their week there, they had extensive net practice and match scenarios out in the middle, and worked with coaches from GMR Sports and Delhi Capitals.
