Hampshire have begun this year’s Royal London One-Day Cup in excellent form, claiming three victories in as many games to start the competition to sit top of the South Group. James Vince’s side will be looking to continue their unbeaten run when they travel to face Gloucestershire at Bristol on Friday.
Hampshire Squad:
An unchanged 15-man squad has once again been named for Friday’s away fixture, with the same group available following victories over Sussex Sharks, Surrey and Essex Eagles in the last week.
Rilee Rossouw has dazzled at the top of the order so far during this white-ball campaign, striking 90 against Surrey on Monday, before recording his first century at the The Ageas Bowl with an outstanding 111 against Essex Eagles on Wednesday. The left-hander will be hoping to continue his good form on Friday against Gloucestershire.
The Opposition:
Gloucestershire endured a difficult 2017 Royal London One-Day Cup campaign as they finished 7th in the South Group, the second consecutive season missing out on qualification for the knock-out stage after winning the competition in 2015.
Chris Dent’s side have started well to begin 2018 though, picking up two wins from their first three matches, although a first defeat last time out against Surrey will see them looking to make amends with victory on Friday.
