Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Rain Ruins Hampshire's Chance Of Bounce-Back Victory

Rain prevented any play in Hampshire's NatWest T20 Blast contest against Surrey at the The Ageas Bowl

Poor weather ensured that no play was possible in Hampshire's NatWest T20 Blast fixture against Surrey at the The Ageas Bowl on Sunday.

Although persistant rain throughout the early afternoon, the wet weather did subside allowing for an inspection at 4:15pm.

However, shortly after the inspection took place, heavy rain set in, preventing any play on the day.
