Australian Duo Neser And Lehmann Join Hampshire For 2026
Australian all-rounder Michael Neser and batter Jake Lehmann join Hampshire for the 2026 season
Hampshire were frustrated by the rain as they were knocked out of the Royal London One-Day Cup as the poor weather prevented a ball from being bowled in the 50-over fixture against Sussex Sharks at the The Ageas Bowl.
Both sides had their exit from the List A competition confirmed as the clash was abandoned, constant rain all day putting any plans of play to bed with umpires Graham Lloyd and Michael Burns finally calling the match off at 4:50pm.
Prior to today, Hampshire required a win, whilst hoping that Gloucestershire beat Surrey with a large enough swing in net run rate, to progress to the quarter finals.
But after the game in Bristol was abandoned, all hopes of qualifying were ended.
