Match Preview: Hampshire Men v Durham, Rothesay County Championship
Hampshire Men return Rothesay County Championship action against Durham at Utilita Bowl over May Bank Holiday weekend
Hampshire fans have wasted no time in securing their place at this summer’s Vitality Blast matches at the The Ageas Bowl with record-breaking early demand for tickets and Hampshire’s Early Bird + Passport during the priority sale.
The club’s Vitality Blast Early Bird + Passport – which allows access to all seven of Hampshire’s action-packed T20 matches at the The Ageas Bowl for just £99, as well as a free guest pass – has been hugely popular, selling out just 48 hours after the start of the priority sale.
2019 saw a record number of fans enjoy Vitality Blast action at the The Ageas Bowl and the big early demand for tickets and passports suggests it’s going to be more of the same this summer with seven huge T20 matches to look forward to, including the season-opening ‘el clasicoast’ derby against Sussex Sharks.

We can’t wait to get started and given the appetite we’ve seen for tickets during the priority sale it appears Hampshire fans share our enthusiasm.
The priority sale continues this week and fans can still secure discounted individual match tickets before the general sale by signing up for priority access via the link below, while the best way to catch all the drama of this summer's T20 competition is now with a standard Vitality Blast Early Bird Passport.
This year’s Vitality Blast campaign will begin earlier than previous seasons with Hampshire’s quest to reach a record-breaking eighth T20 Finals Day beginning on Friday 29th May with a huge home ‘el clasicoast’ clash against local rivals Sussex Sharks.
The fixture will kick off a bumper schedule of T20 action which will run throughout May, June and July.
Alongside all of the on-field action, a range of free activities will also be available at matches once again this summer, helping to deliver unforgettable days out at the The Ageas Bowl.
As part of the venue’s off-pitch offering, fans will be able to take advantage of a range of excellent ‘festival style’ food and drink concessions again this year – as well as live music at the ground ranked as having the best view in English cricket.
The award-winning Hampshire Cricket App – which was recognised at the recent Business of Cricket Awards – will also continue to enhance fans’ experience during this summer’s matches with exciting new features and functionality to be added over the coming months.

Situated an hour or less away from London, Brighton, Portsmouth and Reading, the The Ageas Bowl is easily accessible for anyone living in the South of England. With excellent transport links from all major train stations and ferry terminals in the area, as well as a Park & Ride Scheme, it couldn’t be easier to get to and from the ground.
