Australian Duo Neser And Lehmann Join Hampshire For 2026
Australian all-rounder Michael Neser and batter Jake Lehmann join Hampshire for the 2026 season
Hampshire fast-bowler Reece Topley is to undergo surgery on his left-shoulder and will therfore be unable to join England Cricket's Pace Programme in South Africa.
Topley had experienced discomfort in his left shoulder when throwing during recent training and is to have surgery to rectify the problem this week, which should allow him to be fully fit for the start of Hampshire's 2017 campaign.
Reece is a determined character and although it is disappointing news for him, we're very hopeful that he'll be fit and raring to go in time for the new season.
Giles White, Hampshire Director Of Cricket
The left-armer, who featured in England’s World T20 squad last spring, was originally added to the Programme to continue his rehabilitation after missing the 2016 season through injury.
