Playing in a IT20 at Utilita Bowl, Finch shattered the record for the highest individual score in T20 internationals at the time. His blistering innings came off just 63 balls and included 14 sixes — another IT20 record — and 11 boundaries.
Finch dominated the England bowling attack with a fearless display of stroke play, effortlessly clearing the boundary and pacing his innings perfectly. His incredible knock helped Australia post a mammoth total, showcasing Finch’s prowess as one of the most destructive limited-overs batter in the world.
