Heavy overnight rain and persistent morning showers caused the abandonment of the final group game between Hampshire and Lancashire, in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup women’s competition, at Arundel.
The umpires called off the match shortly after 10am due to a waterlogged outfield.
The no-result confirms Hampshire's position as table-toppers and a home semi-final on Wednesday. Their opponents will either be Lancashire or The Blaze, depending on the result of today's match between Essex and The Blaze at Chelmsford.
Hampshire's Abi Norgrove said "It's obviously a bit disappointing but it's good that we're through to the semi and we're looking forward to Wednesday. A home semi-final is an advantage, everyone's ready to go."
