Royal London Cup: Quarter-Final Permutations

Hampshire kept their hopes of qualifying for the Royal London Cup knockout stages alive with victory against Kent Spitifres in their penultimate Group 1 fixture.

Kyle Abbott's side head to Emirates Riverside for tomorrow's final Group tie, with no less than a victory required to have a chance of securing a quarter-final place.

Ahead of the contest, the following permutations will apply.

Hampshire will qualify for the quarter-final stage in third position if:

• Hampshire beat Durham, Essex defeat Lancashire and Hampshire's net run-rate remains higher than Gloucestershire should they defeat Kent Spitfires
• Hampshire beat Durham, Lancashire's fixture against Durham ends in a tie or no result and Hampshire's net run-rate remains higher than Gloucestershire should they defeat Kent Spitfires

Hampshire will not qualify for the quarter-final stage if:

• Hampshire lose to Durham
• Hampshire beat Durham but Lancashire defeat Essex
• Hampshire beat Durham, Essex defeat Lancashire but Gloucestershire attain a higher net run-rate following a victory against Kent Spitfires
