Hampshire players selected in England Women Pathway squads
England Women have announced the Performance Programme intake U19 Training squad for the 2025/26 winter, with a total of five Hampshire players included.
Toby Albert displayed calm beyond his years as his knock of 84* was crucial as Hampshire recovered from 5-68 to claim a momentous victory against Derbyshire.
With Hampshire's top order struggling, Albert and Fletcha Middleton (64) combined for a 104-run partnership to steady the Hampshire ship.
Middleton was dismissed, with Hampshire needing 75 runs to win, but Albert was well supported by the lower order.
Albert hit a four straight down the ground from the final ball of the 48th over to leave only two to win, which number 10 John Turner knocked off the first ball of the next over.
