Hampshire returned to Newclose in 2022 for the first time since 2019.

Northamptonshire were the visitors to the Isle of Wight to take on Hampshire in the One Day Cup.

The 2,000-strong crowd at Newclose witnessed Hampshire's late show as Jack Campbell took centre stage in his first campaign with his home county.

Campbell snared Nathan Buck caught in the deep and had Ben Sanderson caught behind in successive deliveries.

James Sales was on the end of a Campbell yorker to give the Portsmouth native his third wicket and on the brink of an unlikely win.
