Australian Duo Neser And Lehmann Join Hampshire For 2026
Australian all-rounder Michael Neser and batter Jake Lehmann join Hampshire for the 2026 season
Hampshire Cricket has agreed for all-rounder Sean Ervine to join Derbyshire on a loan deal for the remainder of the 2018 season.
The 35-year-old will be available for Derbyshire’s Specsavers County Championship fixture against Sussex beginning on Sunday (19th August), the first of six matches remaining in this year’s four-day competition.
Sean is looking to play regular red-ball cricket to finish the season and this loan move to Derbyshire will give him this opportunity. We wish him well during his time at Derby.

Ervine has totalled 9,040 runs, including 15 centuries and 47 fifties, whilst also claiming 214 wickets in 188 first-class matches for Hampshire since joining the Club in 2005.
The left-hander has also been a valuable contributor to Hampshire’s limited-overs side in recent years, recording 6,360 runs and picking up 159 wickets in 298 List A and T20 matches.
