The Ageas Bowl welcomed a sell-out crowd of more than 2,000 people for a thrilling ‘An Evening Of Queen Event’ on Saturday 28th September.
Fans of all ages braved the late September rain for an incredible live show which saw the greatest hits from legendary rock band, Queen, performed on stage by a collection of world-class performers from some of London’s biggest shows, including former stars from the hit musical ‘We Will Rock You’.
Presented in partnership with Squareleg Promotions who have brought ‘An Evening of Queen’ to venues across the country, the evening saw the cast perform their biggest anthems with renditions of ‘We Will Rock You’, ‘Another One Bites The Dust’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ wowing spectators.
Tickets and hospitality packages had previously sold out in quick-time with fans flocking to the venue for the outdoor concert extravaganza, the first of several exciting events set to round off 2019 in style at the venue.
On Friday 25th October a Charity Race Night with Bobby Davro arrives at the The Ageas Bowl before the venue hosts its spectacular annual Fireworks Party a week later on Friday 1st November. An unmissable evening of live blues music then follows as the second ‘Blues at the Bowl’ event returns to the home of Hampshire Cricket on Saturday 23rd November.
