Southern Vipers Announce 2023 Playing Squad

Southern Vipers are delighted to announce a 19-strong playing squad for the 2023 season.

The squad features no less than 16 professionally contracted players, with 12 contracted domestically to the Club, and four players, Danni Wyatt, Charlie Dean, Freya Kemp, and Lauren Bell, all centrally contracted to the England and Wales Cricket Board.

Georgia Adams continues her captaincy in what will be her fourth year at the helm of the Vipers after she led the team to Charlotte Edwards Cup victory in June 2022, and runners-up in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.

Academy graduates Sophie Mitchelmore and Mary Taylor are officially included in the Southern Vipers main squad for the first time.

Both players have made their senior debuts for the Vipers in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

Individual squads will be selected on a match-by-match basis.

Tickets for Southern Vipers fixtures are available at the cheaper, Advance rate until 11:59pm the day before the matchday, after which ticket prices will change to the On The Day rate for that match.

Tickets for the two T20 Double-Headers with Hampshire Hawks on Friday 26th May and Wednesday 31st May are available at the Super Early Bird rate until 31st March.
