Southern Vipers Included In PCA’s Team Of The Year

Three Southern Vipers have been included in the PCAs Women’s Team of the Year.

Danni Wyatt, Georgia Adams, and Lauren Bell have been named in the PCA’s Women’s Team of the Year off the back of hugely successful seasons with their region, franchise, and country.

Wyatt racked up 160 MVP points as she scored 221 runs at an average of over 30 in the Charlotte Edwards Cup, with 434 runs across all competitions this year.

Georgia Adams captains the side after being named as the PCA’s Women’s Domestic Player of the Year.

The Vipers skipper scored 463 runs across the Charlotte Edwards Cup, Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, and The Hundred, along with 24 wickets in the three competitions.

Finally, Lauren Bell makes up the XI after she scored 100 MVP points – the second most of any women’s pace bowler across the 2022 season.

She took 11 wickets at an average of just 16 in The Hundred where she produced best short-format figures of 4-10, along with best Vipers figures of 3-12 against Lightning in the Charlotte Edwards Cup.
