Georgia Adams’ Adelaide Strikers side are straight through to the final of the WBBL which takes place on Saturday 2nd December.
The Strikers claimed top spot in the group stage after winning 11 of their 14 matches, as the reigning champions look well set to win back-to-back titles.
In her debut season in the competition, Adams has scored 20 runs in five innings, and has taken four wickets and seven catches.
Linsey Smith continued to pick up wickets although Sydney Sixers are out of play-off contention.
The left arm-spinner picked up 2-19 from 3.5 overs to help bowl Sydney Thunder out for 123.
Smith finished with 11 wickets from as many matches, with the lowest economy rate of any Sixers bowler.
Maia Bouchier’s time in Australia has also come to an end, as her Melbourne Stars side finished seventh with six wins.
She finished her WBBL with 216 runs – the fifth most for the Stars – with a best of 48, and took eight catches whilst patrolling the boundary rope.
In the Middle East, Rhianna Southby, Lauren Bell, Charlie Dean, Freya Kemp, and Danni Wyatt have all been preparing for England Women’s upcoming tour of India as all five players have been taking part in a training camp in Oman.
On Friday, it was announced that Dean, Southby, and Kemp are included in a 13-player England A group that will play India A in three T20s at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
22-year-old Dean has also been handed the captain’s armband for the tour before she links up with the main England Women squad for their series against India which consists of three IT20s and one Test match, which begins on Wednesday 6th December.
