Southern Vipers’ Danni Wyatt, Charlie Dean and Lauren Bell all starred for England as they helped the Three Lions to a semi-final finish in the 2023 Women’s T20 World Cup.
Opening batter Wyatt struggled at the start of the tournament, but soon found her feet and ended up as England’s second leading run-scorer with 120 runs.
Her competition best of 59 came in England’s final group stage match against Pakistan, was her 11th IT20 half-century and first in T20 World Cups.
Bowlers Dean and Bell, both appearing in a T20 World Cup for the first time, starred with the ball.
The pace and swing of Lauren Bell picked up three wickets in four matches, with a strong economy rate of only 6.15 runs per over.
Charlie Dean’s off spin took four wickets, with a best of 2-26 as she played a key role in England’s spin trio alongside the number one women’s IT20 bowler, Thunder’s Sophie Ecclestone, and The Blaze’s Sarah Glenn.
Southern Vipers’ Maia Bouchier was also part of England’s 15-player squad but didn’t feature in the main tournament.
Fans can watch England in action at The Ageas Bowl this July, as they take on double world champions Australia in the penultimate match of the Women’s Ashes series.

Tickets for Southern Vipers fixtures are available at the cheaper, Advance rate until 11:59pm the day before the matchday, after which ticket prices will change to the On The Day rate for that match.
Tickets for the two T20 Double-Headers with Hampshire Hawks on Friday 26th May and Wednesday 31st May are available at the Super Early Bird rate until 31st March.
